Grady E. Coyle, DMA, AAGO, ChM, retired in 2015 after 36 years as Organist and Director of Music at Northridge Presbyterian Church, Dallas. He holds degrees from NTSU (now UNT), SMU, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His organ studies have been with Alis Dickinson, Edmund Ladouceur (USAF Academy chapel), Robert T. Anderson, and Jerald Hamilton.
In the Dallas Chapter, he has held the positions of Sub-Dean, Dean, Treasurer, and has just completed his third season as Director of the chapter’s Robert T. Anderson Recital Series. He was Director of the New Music Committee for the 1994 National AGO Convention, Director of workshops for the 2007 Regional Convention, and Director of Recitals and Concerts for the 2017 Southwest Regional Convention. He is also currently the director of the committee which will produce the National Young Artist Competition in Organ Performance for the 2018 cycle.
